In terms of exports, China's methanol exports in September were 23000 tons, a decrease of 75.16% month on month; From January to September, China's methanol exports totaled 485000 tons, 13.7 times that of the same period last year, significantly exceeding last year's annual imports
since April, affected by the instability of global methanol plants, the international methanol market has been in short supply, and the methanol price in Europe and the United States has risen to a high level since 2008, which has increased the supply to the European and American markets in the Middle East under the condition of shutdown and production reduction of some plants, and reduced the output to China, resulting in the continuous low methanol import volume of China. At the same time, due to the continuous shutdown and production reduction of some units in Southeast Asia, China's methanol was re exported to South Korea and Southeast Asian countries, which prompted China's export volume to use vernier caliper to measure the length between gauge lengths of fractured specimens. From late September, it is expected that the scrap market will continue to operate in a weak position, and some Southeast Asian units will start to restart one after another. At the same time, Iran's methanol units will also resume. 2.
